Irish-born, Barcelona-based DJ and producer Andrew Azara has built a reputation through a steady stream of house and minimal releases on labels including Heavy House Society, Do Not Sleep, Origins, Rendr, Avotre, Surge Records, and Cecille Records.

Drawing inspiration from early house and techno alongside the bigger room sounds of the early 2010s, his productions have taken him to clubs and festivals such as District 8, Life Festival, and elrow.
The selection arrives as Azara prepares for his debut USA tour, a seven-date run across Austin, Chicago, Miami, Washington D.C., New York, San Diego, and Denver. The tour also follows the release of his third Cecille Records EP, ‘The Quest’, with headline shows and label showcases scheduled throughout the summer.
To mark the occasion, Andrew Azara shares ten tracks currently shaping his sets and listening habits.
1. Bob Sinclar – Save Our Soul (Brian Tappert Re-Edit)
“One of my favourite finishing tracks, a really smooth emotional house track that doesn’t need a screaming vocal. The beats and music just do all the talking. I can picture this at sunrise or sunset; it will just hit you no matter what the time or place. A must in my USB.”
2. Mateo Dufour & Cosenza – Why So Freak? (Dan Ghenacia Remix)
“When I heard this, I just wanted to dance. When those retro chords come in, it’s just a vibe. I mean, can Dan Ghenacia really miss? Known for being a DJ, but I think an underrated producer. Also love the originals on the pack from Mateo and Cosenza, check those too.”
3. Andre Zimmer – The Way You Make Me Feel
“This guy has been making bombs recently, and this is no exception; a real party starter for me, this track. I really love how big dusty beats are making a big comeback at the moment. A great time for this type of house music.”
4. Luis Bravo – Tribute To The Ancestors (Fragoso Torcendo O Tempo Dub)
“More on the minimal side, this groove is so infectious. I heard this on a set from Traumer and had to find it. Been playing it non-stop ever since. Sometimes a good loop and groove can just carry a track for 6 minutes, and this is an example of that.”
5. Trancefeld – Love Song (2002)
“An oldie, and maybe a lot of people don’t know this one. All the keys and trance gate vocal effect just create such an amazing euphoric vibe. Again, another genre making a big comeback at the moment. Trancey, uplifting energy, and I just love it”
6. SWEELY – HASH’N FUNK’N
“A producer who needs no introduction. My USB is just filled with music from this guy. His creativity is from another planet, and this one, which came out on TSOL, feels simple when listening, but after listening again you hear so many small details you missed. Don’t sleep on this track.”
7. ANTRUM – DOGU
“Love this duo and everything they put out is just pure, mature, amazing house music. No frills, build-ups, or snare rises. Every time I play this it just lights up the dancefloor, and I’d really love to see them work in the studio, two amazing creatives coming together. Also love the little sushi logos”
8. Chaos In The CBD – Deeper Life
“Less of a DJ tool. When I travel, or I’m on the road, I play this a lot. It just brings you to a different place every time, and it always stirs lots of memories when I listen to it, being in Thailand and these tropical places. One of my favourite albums ever, and I can’t wait to eventually meet these guys one day.”
9. Andrew Azara & Hector Couto – Camachos Groove (Edit)
“Little self plug, one of the edits me and Hector made last year in 2025. This is still getting played by Chris Stussy a year later; I see it in his videos quite often. It actually only took us 30 mins to make and is less than 10 channels. Sometimes the simple, fast ones are the best.”
10. Job De Jong – Like This
“Another amazing groove, another producer who I can’t get enough of. This came out on vinyl, which I bought, and I play the rip quite often. It just slams the dancefloor and sets the tone. Use it for an intro, middle, or set ender; this will pack a punch.”
