For his debut on the EG Podcast, Lazarusman presents a special mix shaped around the release of his first studio album, ‘Skin,’ via Moodfamily.

Born in Johannesburg, Lazarusman has built a singular path through electronic music, bringing spoken word, dancefloor energy, and human reflection into direct conversation. His voice has become a signature across collaborations with Stimming, Hyenah, Booka Shade, AMEME, Xinobi, Bontan, Mele, Huxley, Dwson, and more, placing him among the most recognizable vocal storytellers in the global scene.

With Skin, he opens a new chapter. Across 13 tracks, the album moves through questions of identity, faith, colorism, masculinity, and life in post apartheid South Africa, pairing his poetic delivery with deep house, Afro house, breakbeats, jazz, and late night club rhythms. The project features an international cast of collaborators, including Stimming, FKA Mash, Johannes Brecht, Boogie Vice, Axone, and others.

His EG Podcast debut offers a personal entry point into that record. Built from selected album cuts and current favorites, the mix celebrates poetry, vocals, groove, and feeling, while giving listeners a closer view of the world behind Skin. It is both an introduction to Lazarusman on Electronic Groove and a marker of one of the most personal releases of his career.
