Vince Watson has unveiled ‘Eminesence – The Mixes’, a new collection of reinterpretations of his long-running deep house favorite, released via Everysoul.
Arriving after the re-release of ‘Eminesence’ earlier this year, the package brings together three respected names from the deeper side of house music. Moroccan producer Cee ElAssaad opens the release with a sun-soaked and musically expansive rework, while Atjazz delivers a groove-led dub interpretation shaped by chunky basslines and atmospheric textures.
The collection closes with Osunlade’s Yoruba Soul Mix, a spiritual and jazz-inflected take that shifts the original into more laid-back territory through rich percussion, saxophone, and melodic instrumentation.
The release arrives as Vince Watson celebrates three decades in electronic music, a career that spans more than 1,000 productions, 250 EPs, and 18 albums, alongside collaborations and remixes for artists including Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Joe Claussell, and Carl Cox.
