AlphaTheta has introduced the CDJ-1500X, a compact media player engineered for mobile DJs, bars, and intimate club spaces. The unit functions as a streamlined alternative to the flagship CDJ-3000X, maintaining essential workflow features in a smaller footprint.
The player includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen with advanced waveform displays and expanded browser functionality. Built-in Wi-Fi enables direct integration with rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, facilitating music streaming from platforms such as Apple Music, Beatport, and TIDAL.
A notable addition is native support for CoBeat, a new service that enables real-time audience requests via QR code, which appear directly on the device’s screen. Hardware controls include eight Hot Cue buttons, Beat Sync, and dual front-mounted USB ports, ensuring compatibility with external mixers.
AlphaTheta continues to iterate on its hardware ecosystem by bridging the gap between professional-grade performance tools and the requirements of smaller-scale event environments.
