Global Underground has announced a milestone release to commemorate its 30th anniversary. Titled ‘THIRTY,’ the compilation features 30 brand-new, exclusive tracks from a wide range of electronic music artists.
The collection includes contributions from Danny Howells, Guy J, Rodriguez Jr, Nick Warren & Nicolas Rada, Nicky Elisabeth, Quivver & Dave Seaman, Yulia Niko, HotLap, and Spencer Brown, Fur Coat & Zoo Brazil, Nadia Ali & Frankey & Sandrino, and more. Founded in 1996, Global Underground originally gained prominence for its concept of pairing DJs with exotic travel destinations to capture live performances and city-themed mixes. The label is widely recognized for its role in the evolution of the “superstar DJ” phenomenon.
‘THIRTY’ will be available in multiple formats, including a 2x CD set featuring two DJ mixes, a 3x 12″ vinyl edition, and a collector’s set spanning 5x 12″ vinyl. Digital download and streaming versions will also be released.
