Denon DJ has launched the PRIME 4 G2, a four-channel, four-deck standalone DJ system featuring onboard Stems rendering, integrated DMX lighting control, and a redesigned performance workflow.
The unit introduces 16 MPCe velocity- and pressure-sensitive multi-zone pads with 3D-sensing technology, allowing DJs to control Hot Cues, Stems, Rolls, FX, and lighting functions from individual pads.
Hardware updates include 8-inch jog wheels with LED displays, redesigned dual-rail faders, a 10.1-inch HD multi-touch display, an eight-core ARM processor, and 4GB of RAM. Built-in SoundSwitch integration also provides direct DMX lighting control without external hardware.
PRIME 4 G2 supports onboard streaming from Amazon Music Unlimited, Apple Music, Beatport, SoundCloud Go+, and TIDAL, while its OmniSource architecture is designed to integrate Serato DJ Pro, Algoriddim djay, and VirtualDJ.
The PRIME 4 G2 is priced at $2,599 USD, €2,699.99, and £2,299.99.
