Boiler Room has said it is reviewing a series of incidents that took place during its two-day New York event after videos surfaced showing confrontations between attendees and protesters.

Footage shared by activist collective Boycott Room shows an attendee jumping onto a group of protesters who were lying on the ground while J.I.D. was performing. A separate video from the following night shows another protester entering the stage and shutting down the DJ booth during a performance.

In a statement, Boiler Room said it is working with the host venue, Under the K Bridge, to establish what happened. The company added that it respects the right to peaceful protest, condemned any behavior that threatens attendees’ well-being, and encouraged anyone who believes they were the victim of a crime or has relevant information to contact police.

The demonstrations were organized by Boycott Room, a New York-based initiative protesting Boiler Room and other event platforms over their reported ties to investment firm KKR. The group described the confrontation as an attack on peaceful activists and said the protests reflected broader opposition from parts of New York’s underground electronic music community.
