Monumentum LAB has launched its annual educational program in Bogotá, running from July 22nd to 24th across the Cinemateca de Bogotá and CityU. The academic component precedes the main Monumentum: Bogotá Distrito Rave event.

The three-day initiative features 20 hours of scheduled programming divided into 14 educational spaces. The agenda includes certified training sessions, artist talks, creative showcases, and collaborative panels featuring 32 industry professionals.

The initiative serves as a precursor to the main festival scheduled for July 25th, 2026, at the Plaza de Bolívar. That outdoor gathering will transform the historic public square into an open-air dancefloor featuring electronic music performances, VJ sets, and local artisan markets.

“Monumentum reflects the current state of electronic music in Bogotá. This lineup brings together internationally recognized artists, projects currently shaping the national scene, and new talents representing the future of the city’s electronic music movement,” stated Blanca Andrea Sánchez, Director of the Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation (FUGA).

Organized in collaboration with municipal institutions and cultural managers, the platform aims to strengthen creative infrastructure and professional development within the regional electronic music sector.
