A Man Called Adam will release ‘Barefoot 26’ on September 24th, 2026, via Other Records, bringing together 16 versions of their 1990 single ‘Barefoot In The Head’, including 11 mixes previously unavailable digitally.

The collection spans the original bedroom demo, early white-label versions, the previously unheard ‘Bowelfoot’ mix, a Farley and Heller-inspired ‘Return to Pacha’ version, and remixes by FUG and Justin Robertson. New 2026 versions created by Sally Rodgers and Steve Jones are also included.

One of the new interpretations uses a 2017 rehearsal recording from The Symphonic Sound of Back to Basics in Leeds, where the duo performed an orchestral version of the track with The Northern Symphonia.

The release coincides with The Turner Prize After Party at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Curated by A Man Called Adam, the free event will feature the debut of a new A/V show alongside performances and sets from The Aurora String Quartet, Sir Racha, Hanah Mercy, MC General TG, Tariro and Dennis, and Phil Dunning.
