Eastern Electrics made a memorable return this year, bringing its blend of house, tech, minimal and underground sounds to Burgess Park. With four stages and a stacked lineup, there was plenty of competition for the standout set of the day, but these five performances really delivered.

1. Skream on Four Corners Stage
Skream was on absolute fire at Four Corners, delivering the kind of set that reminded everyone exactly why he remains one of the most exciting and versatile DJs in the circuit. Effortlessly moving through house, techno, and everything in between, he brought a level of energy and musical unpredictability that kept the crowd locked from start to finish – a proper festival moment from the South London local.
2. Dennis Cruz b2b Mau P on Main Stage
Two of the biggest names in contemporary house music going back-to-back was always going to be a recipe for something special, and Dennis Cruz and Mau P didn’t disappoint. Their set was packed with heavyweight grooves, rolling basslines, and plenty of hands-in-the-air moments, with both artists bringing their own personality to the mix. Big tunes, big energy, and one of the most talked-about sets of the day.
3. Locklead on Modern Funktion Stage
For those looking for something a little deeper and more underground, Locklead delivered in style. His Modern Funktion set was full of groove, intricate rhythms, and the kind of stripped-back selections that kept dancers moving without needing to rely on the obvious. A seriously strong performance and another reminder of why he’s one of the most exciting names coming through the scene.
4. East End Dubs on Four Corners Stage
East End Dubs brought his signature sound to Four Corners and completely owned the space. Deep, rolling, and relentlessly groovy, his closing set was built for the heads and perfectly suited to the energy of the stage. There was a real sense of momentum throughout, as the crowd stayed locked into every beat. Underground house music done properly.
5. Mella Dee b2b Reeshy on Modern Funktion Stage
Rounding off our top five was the brilliant pairing of Mella Dee and Reeshy. Their back-to-back brought a huge amount of personality to the Modern Funktion stage, combining tough club energy with infectious grooves and plenty of unexpected moments. It felt spontaneous, fun, and perfectly in tune with the crowd, and exactly what a great B2B should be.
Eastern Electrics was back in a big way, and with sets like these, it was a reminder of why the festival remains such an important date in the UK dance music calendar.
