Miester has released ‘Time’ through Natura Viva as part of the label’s ‘Psicotropo’ compilation.
Built around a deep low-end and tightly driven percussion, the melodic techno track centers on a sliced vocal hook treated as an additional rhythmic element. Atmospheric delays sit around the groove as the arrangement maintains a darker, late-night direction throughout.
“With ‘Time,’ I just wanted to build a straight melodic techno weapon that feels relentless on a proper system without needing any of those cheesy, obvious drops. I ended up treating the vocal chop less like a normal top-line and more like a piece of percussion to keep the groove driving,” Miester says.
‘Psicotropo’ also includes contributions from AZOR, Gio, Giorgio Phoenix, Jonah Graves, LAHAV, Lart Sanam, Liza Divine, Mike Barajas, Pasha Shatunov, Stefan V, Thomas Marks, Tino Rao, VIIIA, and Zeonsound.
