Junk-E-cat gives us the opportunity to delve deeper into his track ‘Levitation’, taken from his first EP KREATUR. The dark yet uplifting track hovers between a hot summer evening and the first light of morning at the end. The mysterious commanding voice asking “Have you kissed the ceiling?” and tells us to ‘Rise’ into a new morning sky accompanied by junk-E-cat’s unique swirling world of bass clarinet and alto sax. This four track single offering allows us to hear the same story from different unique perspectives.
With a focus on the warm and satisfying tone created by junk-E-cat’s woodwind performance, Polly Powder’s remix plays the game of alternating the instrumental parts with a deep and straight groove. The tension of this play
creates the journey of this remix which makes you float and dance one after another.
