The first preview of ‘Stardust’ is now available, a film inspired by the life of the late British musician, composer, and actor David Bowie.
The film, directed by Gabriel Range and starring Johnny Flynn, is set in 1971 and recalls when the artist first went to the United States and was inspired to bring his alter ego Ziggy Stardust to life.
‘I set out to make a movie about what makes someone become an artist; what really drives them to do their art’, explained the director.
However, Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie, said a while ago that the film has not been approved by the artist’s family. Last year, he tweeted: ‘This movie will not have any of dad’s music, and I can’t imagine that changing. If they want to see a biopic without his music or the blessing of his family, that’s up to the audience’.
