Garret Falls Lockhart (30), better known as the artist i_o, passed away this November 23rd. No cause of death has been announced yet.
The news of his death was confirmed by the following statement through his official social media platforms: ‘On Monday, November 23rd, the world lost a beautiful soul, Garrett Falls Lockhart, also known as i_o. This extremely talented spirit taught us that even if nothing matters, you can still lead with love. Garrett’s truth and soul live on through the music he shared’.
Lockhart had become a staple of the EDM scene over the past years, having released music via Deadmau5’ Mau5trap label. Just last year, he even collaborated with Grimes on her ‘Miss Anthropocene’ album.
