Claptone releases remix of Trans-X’s ‘Living On Video’

The artist adapted the track for the dance floors.

To celebrate four decades of Canadian label Unidisc, Claptone remixed the classic ‘Living On Video’, the original Trans-X track. The German DJ’s version is guided by a vibrant bass line, vintage synth hits, and a quiet, seductive French voice.

In keeping with the progressive and cutting-edge spirit of the label, this year opens a new chapter for the brand. Francis, son of Unidisc founder George Cucuzzella, is spearheading the new project with a lineup featuring some of the best-known artists on the contemporary dance scene, including Carl Cox, Jacques Greene, Purple Disco Machine, and Claptone.

Claptone’s remix of ‘Living On Video’ marks the beginning of a reinvention for the label. Listen to it below and find your copy here.
