Amelie Lens just unveiled her EXHALE label’s fifth VA compilation entitled ‘EXHALE VA005’. This collection features 14 tracks from 16 artists, blending the talents of established names and up-and-coming musicians.
Leading the compilation is Amelie Lens’ ‘Underneath The Strobelights’ with her distinctive vocals. Antwerp native NOVAH debuts with ‘Inner Odyssey’ after b2b sets with BYØRN. The UK’s VENTUR offers the energetic ‘Let It Kick’ with a galloping bassline and catchy vocals.
Irish newcomer Luciid impresses with ‘Era Of Us,’ while BYØRN returns with ‘Our Destiny.’ SWART delivers the intense ‘Extazy,’ driven by strong vocals. Teletech resident Alex Farell and Farrago collaborate on ‘All Systems Go,’ blending spoken vocals with a driving bassline. French producer ARDL, at 21, shines with the raw techno of ‘Hyperactive.’
The VA features FLKN’s ‘Rumble,’ influenced by 303 sounds and dark elements, and the UK’s Aaron Hibell’s fast-paced ‘1999.’ Berlin’s Afem Syko contributes ‘Slingshot,’ and American Chemtrailz and Hani team up on the trance-inducing ‘Goddessblood.’ Italy’s Rian Wood offers ‘Anima,’ a mix of hard techno and neo-rave. Closing the compilation is French talent La Kajofol with ‘Black Rhapsody.’
