Rapper André 3000 has recently released his anticipated debut solo album entitled ‘New Blue Sun’. This record comes 17 years after his last full-length collaboration with Outkast.

In a departure from his usual style, the LP showcases André 3000’s instrumental talent with flute solos. ‘New Blue Sun’ consists of eight tracks, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of flutes such as the Contrabass flute, Mayan flutes, bamboo flutes, and digital wind instruments. This combination of sounds adds depth and richness to the album.

The album presents a variety of compositions with titles that capture the artist’s creative journey from the introspective ‘I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a “Rap” Album but This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time’ to the evocative ‘That Night in Hawaii When I Turned Into a Panther and Started Making These Low Register Purring Tones That I Couldn’t Control… Sh¥t Was Wild’.
