Australian musician Arky Waters just shared a new cut entitled  ‘Gum’, featuring his blend of breakbeat/tech-house electronica. The track is available via Mammal Sounds Records.

Following the release of the first single ‘Take My Time’ last month, the EP’s second track, ‘Gum’, is a fast-paced techno track that highlights Arky Waters’ talent and creative vision. Drawing inspiration from artists such as BICEP, Overmono, and Godford, the artist has crafted a captivating sound.

“After COVID ended, I made an effort to attend as many events as possible to support the music scene. Even on days when I didn’t feel like it, I would push myself to go to local raves happening in Sydney, such as Illicit, Allfriends, Pulso, City Soup, and Motorik. Most of the time, I went alone, but it was never a lonely experience because the communities were so open and friendly. Everyone was doing something different, but they were all celebrating music. It was quite beautiful. I ended up creating this track as a tribute to that time, as I was exposed to a lot of techno that I had never heard before,” said Arky Waters.
