The Techno festival prepares a series of special events in 2017.
Awakenings is the largest Techno festival in the world. Next year they’ll celebrate its 20th anniversary. The first music gathering will take place during April including a group of renowned artists from all around the world. For the first time a daytime event will take place on Saturday April 15 between 11 AM and 10 PM at the Gashouder on the Westergasfabriek terrain. Also the group will publish an anniversary book for the special occasion.
The day lineup will feature regulars like Joris Voorn, Ben Klock, Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills and Chris Liebing, as part of their four-day program going from Thursday April 13 thru Sunday April 16.
Awakenings: 20 Years of Techno book contains the story of the festival from its early inception to the state of affairs now. With illustrations and different interviews will number over 500 pages.
In terms of night lineups on Thursday April 13 the turntables will be reserved for Dimitri & Remy, Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson, Sven Vath, Pan Pot and Nina Kraviz. Friday April 14 will feature Bart Skils & 2000 and One, Adam Beyer & Joseph Capriati, Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann.
On Saturday April 15 night lineup includes Billy Nasty, DJ Rush, Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing and Jeff Mills will come to the Gashouder. The final night on Sunday April 16 will feature Lauhaus, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Ricardo Villalobos, Joris Voorn & Kolsch and Len Faki.
