Beatport introduces new feature ‘Party Mode’

Up to 4 DJs can go B2B in real-time.

Beatport has just introduced its new ‘Party Mode’ feature, which allows users to DJ and play together remotely.

‘Party Mode’ addresses issues for many DJs who have had problems or inconveniences with performing via the internet, while also allowing up to 1,000 fans to tune into the livestream.

This new feature also showcases the list of Beatport tracks being played as a pop-up on the ‘Discover’ module at the bottom of the screen.

It is also worth noting that while the feature may be a fun way for DJs to integrate, collaborate, and have a good time, Beatport’s ‘Party Mode’ will probably hold significant ground as an educational tool.

The system was first implemented late last year with a session between Jamie Jones (who played in Miami) and Loco Dice (who played in Berlin), with a spectator audience and music at each venue. was being played by another.

Beatport’s ‘Party Mode’ will be rolled out on the app soon. For more info click here.
