This summer, Bestival 2025 once again showcased why it stands as one of the UK’s most inclusive and joyful escapes. Set against a backdrop of creativity and connection, the festival unfolded as a playground of imagination by day and a powerhouse of dancefloor energy by night.

Daytime at Bestival brought a spellbinding array of workshops, storytelling stages, and spontaneous performances, transforming the grounds into a wonderland for families. Children painted, crafted, and lost themselves in colourful tales, while parents soaked in the bliss of seeing little hands and curious minds spark with creativity.
As night fell, the event’s pulse shifted. The after-dark program ignited with a string of high-energy sets, with a colossal peak arriving during Basement Jaxx’s thunderous performance. Their euphoric mix of deep bass and explosive lightwork sent waves through the crowd, delivering that unmistakable communal release the festival has become known for.
What made this edition unique was the seamless interplay between its dual identities: a daytime celebration of innocence and imagination, followed by a nocturnal embrace of electronic abandon. Parents and dancers alike could transition effortlessly from storytelling tents to heaving dancefloors, without losing the rhythm of the weekend.
Bestival 2025 reaffirmed its reputation as a rare space where family joy and late-night freedom coexist in harmony. Both little hands and heavy basslines found their place – and together, they defined an unforgettable festival moment.
