Filmmaker and DJ Leonie Gerner has just shared her brand new documentary ‘Beyond Sound’, hosted by Flow Music. The new film chronicles the evolution of Berlin’s world-famous scene through the story of two veteran DJs, Madmotormiquel and Heimlich Knüller.
Available in German with English subtitles, Gerner’s ‘Beyond Sound’ combines old and new rave footage with contemporary interviews, while touching subjects such as buying vinyl in East Germany, the birth of the acclaimed Fusion Festival, and overcoming cancer.
