Loraine James, Russell E.L. Butler, KMRU, and rRoxymore will be the hosts.
The Black Artist Database has unveiled a series of free production masterclasses in collaboration with Ableton. The courses will be available for a whole year.
The masterclass series will be open to all people who identify as Black and will be held online, with Loraine James, Russell E.L. Butler, KMRU, and rRoxymore being the first four hosts of the program. Ableton certified trainers will be supporting every session.
‘Ableton is honored to support the Black Artist Database Masterclass series. Niks and the team have worked tirelessly to bring Black-owned record labels, artists, producers, and bands to the forefront of the electronic music community and beyond. We leapt at the opportunity to aid B.A.D. to continue making a strong impact and focusing on diversity in the music industry,’ says Ableton’s UK and Ireland Brand Manager, Shona MacMillan.
Every course will have 300 available spaces, with B.A.D. encouraging aspiring producers from across the board to register
You can sign up and learn more about the masterclass series here. Registration closes on August 16th at 5 PM BST.
