Body Movements Festival is set to take over Southwark Park in London on Sunday, August 24th, for its biggest edition yet. The one-day event celebrates queer and trans communities with a program of music, art, and collective expression.

Founded by Saoirse Ryan, Clayton Wright, and Simon Denby, Body Movements has grown from a DIY Hackney Wick takeover into one of the UK’s most vital queer festivals. This year’s edition promises world-class sound systems, bespoke stages, and a lineup that unites global icons with underground heroes.

Performers include Mura Masa (DJ A/V set), HAAi, Peach, I.JORDAN, Midland, Tama Sumo & Lakuti, Cakes Da Killa (live), FAFF, Michelle Manetti, GIDEÖN, Angel D’lite, Ellie Stokes, Lynks, Ceechyna, and ROMY. They will be joined by Cheza Lucina, Coucou Chloe (live), Dan Beaumont, DJ G2G, Hannah Holland, Ivicore, Jay Jay Revlon, Karlie Marx, Lady Shaka, Luigi Di Venere, Makadsi, Maze, Narciss, Olesia, Roi Perez, Saoirse, Sarah Sommers (live), Sippin’ T, Shay Malt, Stathis, Tedesco, Thempress, and more across the park’s stages.

Alongside the music, legendary crews such as ADONIS, Pxssy Palace, Fèmmme Fraîche, and 2CPERREA join newcomers IT GIRL, Popola, HOWL, Berlin’s Power Dance Club, and NYC’s Function. The festival will also feature a queer market, speed dating hosted by HOWL, and on-site discussions on relationships and intimacy presented by Impulse.

“Now more than ever, we need spaces to be ourselves and celebrate our culture. This Sunday, we invite our allies to rally with us, support us, and dance with us,” said Clayton Wright, co-founder of Body Movements.

With 10,000 attendees expected, the festival brings every corner of the queer underground together in one park for a day of unity and celebration.
