Boneca prepares new event with Diynamic and Rumors guests

The event’s headliners have not been revealed yet.

If there isn’t a more hedonistic line up than a Boneca party featuring artists from Rumors, Diynamic, Peculiar and last but not least, Majdo – happening in the less-than-usual sparkly church in Marylebone, then I don’t know what is. More unusual is for this event to be kicking off on a Friday evening, I for one am a supporter of having a 2-day recovery period, dancers will be sure to be skipping to work on Friday knowing of the excitement the nights holds ahead!

Recently, Boneca have been stepping up the game, bringing in more imaginative and progressive headliners with each event. Their 6th year anniversary brought in the highly sought Mayan Warrior (a recognizable brand that graces the dusty Playa of Burning Man) – with decor flown in from Mexico to make this event a memorable. You’d expect any following event to be somewhat anticlimactic, but on this occasion something gives me the hunch – this will be equally as indulgent for those who seek hazy musical extravaganza alongside class production and a feeling of community that is the dedicated Boneca fan base.

There is a lot of speculation to who these secret guests may be: Guy Gerber? Acid Mondays? YokoO? Adriatique? Solomun? All of the above? Or are we going to be surprised by a brand new guest appearance, an unexpected surprise – Lauren Lane, Clarian or Lake people? Magdalena, Kolletiv Turmstrasse, Stimming? Their Instagram is giving little away, except that this event has one of the biggest line-ups they have ever built! Whether this is setting the expectation high for this lucrative promoter.

After all, early bird tickets for this event sold out seemingly faster than tickets to Glastonbury, leaving only high tier tickets left on sale only 5 minutes after that sets you back a tidy £55 for entry. Otherwise one could invest in a VIP entry at £100 or more. And no wonder – with a highly regarded and prolific artist roster that has graced the stages of Koko, Suffolk Street Warehouse, Leake Street to mention a few, you pay for what you get: Luciano, Black Coffee, Acid Pauli, Bedouin, Damian Lazarus. We are following a consensus here, expecting something quintessentially Star-studded but also unpredictable. TGIF + T- 12 days. The proof is in the pudding.
