Bonobo announces new album ‘Migration’ (Video)

Simon Green’s sixth album will come January 2017 via Ninja Tunes.

Bonobo has announced a new twelve-track LP is on its way. Entitled ‘Migration’ this is his first release since 2013 following ‘The North Borders’ album and live versions.

The album described as “lush, manic, beautiful, melancholy, joyful, and packed with both emotion and technical skill” attempts to capture the very textures of human existence. Bonobo comments “Life has highs, lows, loud and quiet moments, beautiful ones and ugly ones. Music is a reflection of life.” Also different guests are included on it, such as Nick Murphy (formerly Chet Faker), Rhye, Nicole Miglis and Innov Gnawa.

Aligned to the release Bonobo has prepared a four-month global tour visiting 21 cities across Europe and 18 in North America, kicking off February 2017.
