Bonobo & Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs present ‘Heartbreak’

The main track has already been revealed.

Simon Green, better known as Bonobo, joined forces with fellow producer Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs to offer a 12” that will become the first release from OUTLIER, Simon’s new label.

The lead single ‘Heartbreak’ was released digitally and honors the New York disco revolution of the 70s and 80s.

Orlando (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) shared with me a pretty simple idea he had for something last year (…). We spent a few afternoons in his studio testing ideas, and finally ‘Heartbreak’ was the end result’ says Bonobo.

About the release, Orlando Tobias Edward Higginbottom comments: ‘Now more than ever it feels important to release dance music while deliberately acknowledging its history. (…) It’s great to release music with Simon, not to mention it’s the first release on his label’.

The brand, which was born in collaboration with Ninja Tune, was named OUTLIER thanks to one of the artist’s singles, which he later began using for some of his club nights and at different festivals. With this new outlet, the artist seeks to show his most suitable side for the dance floor.

Bonobo and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ ‘Heartbreak’ will be released on November 13. You can pre-order it here and listen to the lead track below.
