Boris Brejcha is set to perform with an orchestra for the first time when he takes over the Hollywood Bowl on July 26th, 2026. The German producer will appear alongside the venue’s in-house Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, with Derrick Hodge conducting the performance.

Known for his high-tech minimal sound, Brejcha’s productions often feature cinematic arrangements that lend themselves to orchestral reinterpretation. Tracks such as ‘Gravity’ combine expansive electronic textures with melodic piano passages, while its dedicated piano version further highlights the compositional depth behind his music.

Hodge brings extensive experience in orchestral crossover projects through his work with the Color Of Noize orchestra, collaborating with artists including WILLOW, Wizkid, Anderson .Paak, and Jeezy. He also arranged Zedd’s orchestral performance of ‘Clarity’ with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Coachella 2025.

The performance also places Brejcha among a small group of DJs to headline the Hollywood Bowl. Avicii became the venue’s first DJ headliner in 2013, with electronic music appearances remaining relatively rare at the landmark amphitheater.
