Bose has revived its legendary 901 loudspeaker, a model that has captivated audiophiles since its 1968 debut. This limited-edition release, created in partnership with lifestyle brand Kith, celebrates Bose’s 60th anniversary and pays homage to one of the most revered home speaker systems in history.
The reimagined 901 speakers, designed in collaboration with Kith’s founder and creative director Ronnie Fieg, offer a fresh take on the classic model. Available in two wood finishes—white ash and natural walnut—these modern iterations feature elegant brass stems and circular wooden bases.
The 901’s inception stemmed from Dr. Amar Bose’s visionary goal to recreate the immersive experience of a live concert within a living room. The original 901 stood out for its innovative sound reproduction approach. By using a mix of direct and reflecting sound, it created a distinct listening experience that mimicked live performances.
Bose and Kith’s collaboration will produce only 12 custom speaker sets, creating a rare collectible for audio enthusiasts.
