Boy Harsher are making their entry into feature filmmaking with ‘The Lonely Woman’, a full-length horror-thriller written and directed by members Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller. The film features a cast that includes Chloë Sevigny, FKA twigs, VTSS, Sturgill Simpson, Will Oldham (Bonnie “Prince” Billy), and Jake Weary.
Set in New England, the story centers on a woman grappling with the loss of her first love, whose death in a mountain tunnel leads to a deeper mystery involving a new disappearance. As she searches for answers, she encounters a disturbing force tied to her town’s past.
‘The Lonely Woman’ blends emotional tension with visual atmosphere, continuing Boy Harsher’s crossover between music and film.
