Burning Man festival has announced its plans for a virtual edition of the gathering this summer, scheduled from August 22nd until September 7th. The virtual event is bound to follow on last year’s Burning Man Multiverse.
The event will feature six explorable ‘Virtual Burn Worlds’, where attendees will be able to interact with each other and participate in community workshops. Burners will be able to join via a mobile device, a desktop pc, or a VR headset.
Organizers for Burning Man decided to officially cancel this year’s edition, with a view to returning in 2022.
