Lisbon’s MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology – is set to host its first-ever open-air music event on Saturday, September 27th, in collaboration with electronic music platform LISB-ON.

Organized by Jardim Sonoro, the team behind LISB-ON Festival and Ministerium Club, the debut event brings electronic duo CamelPhat and artist MAGA to the museum’s waterfront location on the banks of the Tagus River. The open-air celebration marks MAAT’s 9th anniversary and will feature extended hours, immersive visuals, and large-scale projections within the museum’s striking architectural space — a former power plant transformed into a cultural institution.

This partnership between MAAT and LISB-ON signifies a new chapter for Lisbon’s music and arts scene, merging electronic music with architectural and artistic innovation. Emphasizing accessibility and community spirit, the gathering invites a diverse crowd of music fans, art lovers, and curious locals.

“We are very proud of this collaboration with MAAT, since it marks the first event produced by our team outside the festival’s usual dates, extending the LISB-ON festival beyond its traditional format and into new moments of the year,” said Zé Diogo, LISB-ON and Jardim Sonoro Director.

More artists are expected to be announced soon, as the partnership hints at future editions and further expansion.
