Presented by BAN Talent and Estamos Felices, Buenos Aires’ Rio Electronic Music came alive this past Sunday 25th for a truly electric evening with an unrivaled Cristoph and the rising Argentine talent Ezequiel Arias.

Wrapped up in the cold haze of the crude winter of Buenos Aires, we made our way to the buoyant Costanera just before the night settled in. By 8 PM, the first clubbers were already finding their spots, mingling and slowly getting into the zone with Ezequiel’s entrancing sounds. Weaving a most captivating narrative, Ezequiel’s set saw him deliver highly detailed ambiances through his trademark grooves that have dance floors worldwide in a bind.

Balancing unbridled energy with the right amount of finesse, Ezequiel Arias provided the perfect blend to get us shaking off that Sunday laziness in style. Almost three hours later, Rio was in full motion, reigning supreme in full-blown technicolor. By 11, it was time for Cristoph to commandeer the venue into hyperdrive with his mercurial sounds.

With an impressive catalog that boasts names such as Pryda Presents, Last Night On Earth, Bedrock Records, Armada, and his own Consequence Of Society Recordings, Cristoph has been on a meteoric journey, propelled by a blistering approach behind the decks, and Sunday night was no exception. Upping the ante, Cristoph took over straight away, conserving the energy and vibe that Ezquiel had expertly curated, and laced it with a heady and narcotic substance that drew us into a spellbinding state for the next hours as he delivered a future-drenched set brimming with solid grooves and supersonic melodies. More than just a showstopping DJ and producer, Cristoph is certainly an unstoppable force of nature to be reckoned with.
