Berlin-based DJ and producer Curses returns to the EG Podcast with episode EG.1059, available now on SoundCloud and Mixcloud. The session marks his second appearance in the series and arrives alongside his new release ‘Trust The Beat’, out now via Wrong Era.
Across the mix, Curses moves between late 80s and early 90s European club cuts and contemporary acid house and proto techno. The selection draws from Valencia, Dutch, and Belgian records while introducing newer material tied to the Next Wave Acid Punx orbit.

Known for blending new wave, Italo disco, post-punk, and body music influences, Curses has developed a distinct club identity across DJ sets, live performances, and releases. His latest album ‘Another Heaven’, released on Italians Do It Better and co-produced by Johnny Jewel, further shaped that direction, while collaborations such as ‘Shadow of Love’ with Âme on Innervisions connect his darker songwriting approach with contemporary dancefloors.
