A trove of David Lynch’s personal and professional gear is now up for bidding via Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies (TCM), following the passing of the filmmaker and musician at the age of 78 earlier this year.

The auction features 441 items from Lynch’s extensive collection, including Boss guitar pedals, MIDI keyboards, an E-mu Emulator III sampler, a Telefunken U47 microphone, and a Fender Rhodes electric piano. Also on offer is a custom five-neck guitar and a 1930s Western Electric ribbon mic used in the making of Dune.

Beyond studio equipment, the collection encompasses memorabilia from  Lynch’s films and personal life, including his director’s chair, hand-written scripts, coffee machines, and props from works such as  Dune, Inland Empire, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, and Twin Peaks. Many of these items have already surpassed expected prices, with bidding open until Wednesday, June 18th, 2025.
