Famous house producer Derrick Carter crafted a remix of ‘Closer’, a track by fabric resident Jaden Thompson. The Swindon native is honored to present this cut reworked by the Illinois legend to the public.
In his version, Carter accentuates the bass line without losing the funk and rhythm that characterize the original song, as it seeks to become one of the favorite dance tracks during the summer of 2021.
‘It has been very gratifying to see how many people love ‘Closer’, especially since it was made during a quarantine!’, explains Jaden. ‘Derrick Carter is one of my musical idols, so he was one of the first names that came to mind when remixes were suggested. As usual, he came with his trademark DC sound and put a really cool touch on the record,’ he adds.
