Danish electronic talents Dillistone and Dayyani have teamed up for their new single ‘Overtime’. Now available via One Seven Music.
Blending club energy with pop sensibility, the track explores the tension between ambition and personal relationships, all while delivering an infectious dancefloor-ready sound. Lyrically, ‘Overtime’ reflects on the challenges of maintaining relationships while chasing dreams that extend beyond the ordinary, capturing the emotional push and pull of a fast-paced lifestyle.
“I love discovering new music, and I’ve been a fan of Dayyani ever since I saw her make a completely packed venue explode,” says Dillistone. “When she sent me the demo of “Overtime”, I knew we could create an incredible vibe together.”
For Dayyani, the collaboration was both inspiring and playful. “It’s always exciting to see what happens when two artist universes collide. I think with ‘Overtime’, we’ve created a pretty original dialogue between the melodies and a sound that’s both ultra-pop and clubby, almost like an inner discussion between the devil and the angel on one’s shoulders.”
Berlin-based Dillistone boasts 150M+ streams with his dark, melancholic sound, while Danish artist Dayyani blends multiple genres in her acclaimed debut ‘Recipe for Love’.
