Disclosure return with a new take on Faithless’ defining anthem ‘Insomnia’, celebrating three decades of the iconic release. Titled ‘Insomnia (Disclosure’s 2025 Edit)’, the track is out now via Sony Music.

A cornerstone of UK dance culture, ‘Insomnia’ has remained a powerful force on dancefloors since its release, known for its hypnotic tension and unforgettable vocal. To honor its legacy, Disclosure first introduced their live rework during a standout set at Glastonbury 2025, energizing the classic with live drums and a sharp acid bassline. Originally conceived as a one-off, the edit evolved into an official collaboration after Sister Bliss approached the duo directly.

“Last year for our live show at Glastonbury, we made a live version of one of the greatest electronic music songs of all time – ‘Insomnia’ by the legendary band Faithless,” Disclosure shared. “To our delight, Sister Bliss reached out and suggested we put out the version we made as a collaboration for all our fans to enjoy. We couldn’t be more honoured to be asked & never thought reworking this track would lead to such a special moment for us.”

Sister Bliss added: “We are so excited to present Disclosure’s 2025 edit of ‘Insomnia’. It’s a great and funky tribute to Maxi & our beloved UK dance music scene, and a totally unexpected moment in their Glastonbury set that really touched us deeply. It’s a privilege to see our influence on the next generation of artists – Maxi would be very proud to see how much this song is still being enjoyed.”

The release also follows Faithless’ recent album, ‘Champion Sound’, unveiled in September. The project includes the final recorded vocal from the late Maxi Jazz and guest features by Antony Szmierek, Bebe Rexha, Emmanuel Jal, L.S.K., and Suli Breaks.
