Michael Bibi, the well-known tech house DJ and producer, has recently been discharged from the hospital after undergoing treatment for over 100 days. The 33-year-old has been fighting (CNS) lymphoma, a rare type of brain and spine cancer.

In an update shared on Instagram, Bibi expressed his appreciation and resilience. He stated, “When I first arrived at the hospital, I could barely walk. Today, I leave with a smile, having completed my main treatment. I am tired but content. My battle against cancer is not over, but for now, I am taking a break and savoring some extra time to enjoy life.”

Bibi’s diagnosis was announced in June, leading to the cancellation of all his upcoming shows, including his residency at Ibiza’s DC-10 for the foreseeable future. However, he remains hopeful, sharing earlier this year that his initial round of treatment had been successful, with the tumor shrinking by 40%.

The news of Bibi’s discharge from the hospital has garnered support and well-wishes from fellow artists, including Black Coffee, Fatboy Slim, Amelie Lens, Martin Garrix, among many others.
