Life and Death and its mastermind DJ Tennis have announced the introduction of Parrot Cake, a new imprint that will operate as ‘the alternative subculture to the main label’s normal output, as a home for sound experiments in the hardcore continuum.’
In line with the announcement, it has also been revealed that the imprint’s first release will come from Red Axes member Dori Sandovnik, whose new solo album as Kapitan, ‘30250’, is due on July 9th, encapsulating perfectly the far-reaching musical ambitions of the label.
Further releases are bound to include new collaborations from DJ Tennis and special guests, plus a wealth of talent from within the Life and Death musical universe and beyond.
Kapitan has already unveiled the first single from the upcoming ‘30250’, titled ‘Elleven’. The new single is available now on all streaming platforms and boasts a video by Ronen Tanchum of Phenomena Labs.
