Drunken Kong deliver the latest episode of the EG Techno series

Featuring tracks by Uto Karem, Marco Conte, Wex 10, Drunken Kong, Hertz, and more.

Drunken Kong, the Tokyo-based techno duo formed by D. Singh and DJ Kyoko, has recently released their latest session, EG TECHNO.127.

This fresh mix, which is now available on Soundcloud and Mixcloud platforms of Electronic Groove, showcases a wide array of artists, including Uto Karem, Marco Conte, Wex 10, Hertz, Dj Dextro, Victor Ruiz, Wehbba, Ignacio Arfeli, 247, M.I.T.A, Kaiserdisco, Drumsauw and Beico, in addition to Drunken Kong themselves.

The duo began their musical journey in 2010, resulting in two albums ‘The Signs Within’ (2017) and ‘Where We Start’ (2020). Their work also includes EP’s and singles on labels like Tronic, Terminal M, and Stil Vor Talent. Their 2017 EPs entered the Beatport Top 100 Techno chart, and their 2022 track ‘Spark’  became the most sold raw style techno track.

Their music has been supported by renowned artists like Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, and Deadmau5. They regularly appear on podcasts including the Tronic Radio Show and Stereo Podcast. During the 2020 lockdown, they performed live streams, notably at the Hill of the Buddha in Hokkaido.

Drunken Kong is a strong presence in the Tokyo techno scene and has performed at festivals like Ultra Japan and venues like WOMB and Ageha. They’ve also toured globally, visiting Europe, North and South America, and Australia, with residencies at Eden Ibiza and performances at Valencia’s Barraca and Berlin’s Sisyphos.

In 2022, they became the second Japanese artist to perform at Berlin’s Love Parade and participated in the Beon1x Festival in Cyprus. Their distinctive sound and dynamic DJ style continue to win over new fans. Their recent release, ‘Higher States,’ is featured on Drumcode A-Sides Vol.12. Stream and download here.
