Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Fassi developed an early sensitivity to rhythm and atmosphere before discovering electronic music more deeply after relocating to Montreal. Immersed in the city’s diverse club culture, he refined his craft through consistent DJ practice and an instinctive understanding of musical flow and timing.
This progression led to warm up sets for artists such as Recondite and Butch, experiences that helped shape a sound rooted in groove, patience, and long form storytelling. His approach favors subtle movement and emotional control over obvious peaks, allowing each record the space to breathe.
Alongside his work as a DJ, Fassi has been steadily developing his own productions, with releases on labels including Bar25, Stripped Recordings, and Lazic Records. His musical identity reflects a balance between depth and restraint, informed by years of listening, digging, and quiet evolution behind the scenes.
