Gillandrax is the project of longtime collaborators Tej Gill and Christian Drake, with Tej taking control of the decks for this edition. His DJ background stretches back through London clubs including Velvet Underground and Plastic People, as well as Bristol venues Club Lakota and Thekla. Over the years, he has played alongside artists including Carl Cox, appeared on Austria’s FM4 National Radio, and maintained close ties with scenes in Vienna and Naples.

That experience also feeds into Gillandrax’s studio work, which has moved between deep house, minimal, techno, and more bass-driven material. Their catalog includes remixes from The Advent, with earlier productions receiving support from Sven Väth and Derrick May.
