Electronic Groove has released ‘Electronic Groove for Venezuela – Relief Compilation’, a charity project created to support communities affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
Now available on Bandcamp, the compilation features 14 original tracks from artists across the progressive house and underground electronic music community. Contributors include Nick Warren, Hernán Cattáneo & Tom Pavicich, Danny Howells, Ricky Ryan & Futura City, Flor Capistrán & Cesar Capistrán, ELIF, Liminal MX, Predex, Eli Iwasa & Mau Maioli, Martin Fredes & Solis [US], Ivan Sandhas, Kebin van Reeken, Argenis Brito, Thaddeus X, Prototype (AR), and Night Waves & Glenn Morrison.
All net proceeds from the compilation will be donated to Global Empowerment Mission in support of its Venezuela earthquake relief work. Through this project, Electronic Groove and the contributing artists aim to turn music into direct support for communities affected by the disaster.
According to information shared for the campaign, two major earthquakes struck Venezuela on June 24th, 2026, causing widespread damage across Caracas, La Guaira, and other affected areas. The report notes more than 5,500 confirmed deaths, over 16,700 injured, and tens of thousands still missing as of July 2026.
“This compilation came together through trust, friendship, and a shared desire to help,” says Mauricio Viana, Founder of Electronic Groove. “We wanted to use the platform we have, alongside artists who have been close to EG for years, to turn music into real support for Venezuela.”
“When I was asked to contribute a track for Electronic Groove for Venezuela, I instantly said yes. The devastation has been heartbreaking. Well done to EG for putting this together,” said Nick Warren.
Hernán Cattáneo added, “Contributing a track to this compilation was a small gesture of solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Venezuela. I’m grateful to Electronic Groove for creating a platform that turns passion into meaningful support.”
Glenn Morrison, who contributed music and mastering support through Alpine Mastering, said, “Life is fragile, and I am happy to be able to contribute to this great cause.”
The compilation artwork was donated by Venezuelan artist Slomo. His geometric visual work brings the country’s colors into the project while giving the release its own identity.
As part of the wider campaign, EG has also created a limited run of 250 charity T-shirts, with proceeds set to support the same relief effort. The shirts are available in tandem with the campaign as another way for the community to contribute. Grab yours here.
