Emanuel Satie has returned to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels with his latest EP, ‘A Love Fantasy.’ The three-track project represents the German producer’s first full EP release in three years, following his 2021 label debut ‘Personal Liberation.’
The release explores multiple facets of Satie’s electronic music production, balancing peak-time club energy with deeper underground grooves. The project includes a collaborative track alongside Ibiza-based artist Bruno Roth, born from creative sessions that began between the two producers following the pandemic.
The title track features soulful vocal cuts layered over vibrant chords and crisp percussion rhythms. ‘Touch,’ the collaboration with Roth, shifts the energy toward sweeping melodies and fluid arrangements, while the final solo track, ‘Some Love,’ concludes the EP with an emphasis on melodic arrangements.
Satie has previously released music on prominent electronic imprints including Innervisions, Diynamic, and Cocoon. He is also a co-founder of the international artist collective SCENARIOS.
