Enamour has released his latest single, ‘What U Said,’ featuring artist and producer SAM SHI via Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels. The release includes an official remix from label regulars Bonafique.
The track centers on deep house warmth and progressive arrangements, anchored by SAM SHI’s vocal performance. The production balances steady rhythms with subtle atmospheric tension. Bonafique’s companion rework leans into a more hypnotic, floor-focused groove.
“What U Said has been one of my favorites since Enamour, and I first started working on it together, and every time I’ve played it in a set, I watch the whole room tap into that chemical tension,” SAM SHI commented. Enamour added, “What U Said is about the moment language turns physical; when words create a chemical reaction you can’t take back.”
Enamour, the project of Los Angeles-based producer Michael Gold, has previously released music on Anjunadeep, Diynamic, and Get Physical. SAM SHI follows her recent vocal feature on Anjunadeep Explorations alongside Nico Szabo and Aske Izan.
Crosstown Rebels continues its two-decade run as a primary home for underground house and alternative electronic music.
