DP-6, a music project established in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin, recently unveiled their latest mix, ‘EG SPOTLIGHT.268,’, which is now available on Electronic Groove’s Soundcloud and Mixcloud platforms.
The session features performances from artists such as Notamous, Khaaron, Budakid, Westseven, Freedo Mosho, DP-6, Hicky & Kalo, Matias Burna, Aman Anand & Bondarev, Roger Martinez, Maezbi, Digital Mess, and Bjork.
The musical preferences of the project members were shaped by the electronic scene of the 90s, which is reflected in their music that fuses atmospheric and machine sounds. A defining moment for DP–6 occurred in 2003 with the release of their first record. A few years later, their track, ‘DP-6’, was included in Hernan Cattaneo’s Renaissance compilation, garnering positive reception within the electronic scene. Besides creating music, Alexey and Vadim founded the label DP-6 Records.
