Trans+ Future Sounds will debut on June 19th, 2026, with a free production and songwriting event at Abbey Road Studios. Presented by Trans Creative Collective (TCC) and We Are Moving The Needle, the new initiative is designed to support and connect trans+ music creators through mentorship, education, and community-building.
The inaugural edition will bring together 15 trans+ songwriters, 15 trans+ producers, and 15 industry professionals for an afternoon of workshops, networking opportunities, live performances, and creative development sessions. Fred again.. will lead a 2.5-hour workshop, joined by TCC co-founder charlieeeee, producer Sans Soucis, DJ and producer Messie, artist and songwriter Satch, and trans choral collective Trans Voices.
The launch arrives against a backdrop of continued underrepresentation in music production. According to We Are Moving The Needle’s Fix The Mix report, only 2.3% of producers are women, trans, or non-binary.
Founded in 2021, Trans Creative Collective has built an international network through mentoring, workshops, and industry partnerships. Trans+ Future Sounds marks its latest initiative, with additional events planned throughout 2026.
