Future Forms has announced its second edition, Future Forms V2, set to take place on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at Refuge in Brooklyn. Running from 10 PM to 2 AM, the event continues the queer-founded project’s exploration of the intersection between electronic music, contemporary dance, and participatory club culture.

Created by partners EREZ and Tanguay, Future Forms combines live electronic performance with choreography and rave-focused programming. The upcoming edition will feature an original live performance from the duo alongside dancers Alexander Anderson, Bo Matthews, Graham Feeny, Nelsonn Mejiaa, and Taylor Massa, before transitioning into DJ sets from Physical Therapy and x3butterfly.

Developed from the pair’s shared studio practice, the project unfolds through multiple chapters across the night. Future Forms V2 introduces the sections BASE and OUTPUT, with the former centered around live music by EREZ and choreography by Tanguay. OUTPUT expands the experience into a rave environment shaped by a curated electronic music lineup.

Future Forms debuted earlier this year at National Sawdust in New York, featuring x3butterfly and Seb Wildblood. The project places a strong focus on dissolving the boundary between performer and audience, encouraging movement and participation as part of the experience itself.

Outside the project, EREZ has performed at festivals including Coachella and Outside Lands, while also running the queer event series and label In the Open in Los Angeles. Tanguay currently works with Gibney Company and has contributed movement direction for Vogue, Brain Dead, and NOWNESS.
