G-Lover has released his debut project on Adesso Music, a double A-side titled ‘Ready, Steady, Go / Tomorrow.’ The release marks the Neapolitan producer’s first appearance on the label founded by Junior Jack.
The lead track, ‘Ready, Steady, Go,’ is built on a foundation of rolling house grooves and crisp percussion. It features a polyrhythmic arrangement utilizing bongo accents and layered hi-hats to maintain dancefloor momentum. The second cut, ‘Tomorrow,’ follows a similar rhythmic path but incorporates vocal chops and submerged synth textures for a more melodic, late-night aesthetic.
Based in Naples, G-Lover has been a fixture of the Italian underground scene since the late 1990s. In addition to his production work, he manages the Shake It Music Frequency label and event series. This latest release follows previous outings on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings and UNDR THE RADAR.
